The tip about sewer lateral inspections is one I learned the hard way on an older house in another city. It was not cheap to fix. Anyone buying an older Oceanside place should absolutely budget for that camera inspection.

Really helpful breakdown of downtime. I made the mistake of booking a peel two days before a wedding once and spent the reception hoping nobody looked too closely. Planning ahead sounds obvious, but apparently I needed to learn it the hard way.

The Glassbusters reviews mentioning walls out of square caught my eye, since that is exactly our situation in an older Tempe house. Good to know it is a common problem and not just our bad luck.

I had no idea the buyer agreement rule changed in 2024. My sister is about to start house hunting in Oceanside, so I am forwarding this to her. Can you end one of these agreements early if it is not working out?
